Lynn’s mission is to help individuals and communities reduce stress and anxiety, increase resilience and joy, and cultivate a deeper feeling of balance, wholeness and connection to ourselves and each other.
Having worked in complementary medicine for 16 years, Lynn combines Kiiko Matsumoto-style acupuncture and shiatsu at her clinic in Portland, ME, for the healing of stress, chronic pain and complex chronic conditions.
She is completing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and holds a Master of Science in pain studies from Tufts University. Specializing in embodied approaches to trauma resolution, Lynn training to be a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner.
Having taught yoga, embodied awareness and meditation for over 20 years, she is deepening her practice and is part of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program 2023 Cohort with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Lynn is also a scientific researcher and has published several systematic reviews in complementary medicine.
She holds a BFA and has a background in theatre, movement, voice and clown work. Lynn enjoys singing with her ukulele and hiking in the Maine woods with husband and two children.
